About Dr. Anisha Kumar

Born and raised in Westchester, New York, Dr. Anisha Kumar is an accomplished plastic surgeon specializing in the face and neck.  Dr. Kumar received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her medical degree from Stanford University. She continued her rigorous education by completing her residency at Johns Hopkins in Otolaryngology, a specialty that is solely dedicated to learning complex anatomy of the face and neck. At Johns Hopkins, she trained under premier surgeons and conducted extensive research on patient values in facial plastic surgery and hair transplant procedures. She graduated as chief resident with over a dozen of peer-reviewed publications, multiple book chapters, and numerous podium presentations at national academy meetings.

Recognizing her surgical talents and astute eye for facial aesthetics, she pursued further training as a fellow in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. 

Dr. Kumar is the Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at White Plains Hospital. She is also an active member of the national American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
